Websites are your marketing window to the online world of vast info, knowledge, sales and client potential.. My philosophy of designing websites has evolved over the years and there are some items that I feel are pertinent to all sites. Users want information instantaneously and easily so I design my websites with well defined, intuitive navigation. It is imperative that your chosen fonts are clean and easy to read. Websites written and designed with a clear purpose will not only attract more user traffic, but will score a higher search ranking. Keeping the information fresh and up to date is a good practice. I also feel that professional photos add depth and clarity to webpages and keep users engaged for a longer period of time. Some movement dynamic on a webpage can be interesting to the user and keep then tuned in, but too much is overwhelming.
Most of my websites are clean and not crowded with information. Too much information can turn users off and we have to remember that websites are judged by their users. It is our job to get them information in a fast, easy convenient way.
